Greetings!
By now you may have heard about the encounter I had with the radicalized mob in Washington, D.C. last week. But what was caught on camera was just a small snippet of what happened that evening, so I want to share some things you might not have already heard...

I was in Washington, D.C. attending the President’s address at the Republican National Convention. It was an amazing display of patriotism complete with a stunning fireworks display at the end. Everybody at the event was celebrating how proud we are to be Americans!

When the event ended, we were all escorted off of the White House grounds through a primary exit. The mob was there waiting for us. It was an ambush.

Let me be clear: I fought overseas and lost two legs to defend the right of protesters to peacefully assemble and redress their grievances. That is what makes America such an amazing place. I am an elected official, and I am happy to engage with anybody who wants to talk to me about policies they want to see changed.

But many of the people at the ceremony were not elected officials. They were private citizens minding their own business. The mob surrounded them, screamed at them and denigrated them simply for supporting the President of the United States.

This is the central choice we have this November: our country is in a battle for our future. One side wants to tear down a lot of what makes our country amazing. The other side - the side I stand on - wants to fix our nation’s flaws, rebuild our economy and restore the prosperity that makes America the greatest country in the world!

The stakes simply couldn’t be higher. If you care about the way this country honors its past, and the direction it’s headed for the future, will you please consider making a donation to help us win in November? Here is a secure link.

Our end of month deadline is tomorrow, and I am told we are still more than $20,000 short of having the resources we need to win. The reality is if we can’t raise that by tomorrow, we’ll need to cut back our September budget. If we do that, we are jeopardizing everything we’ve been fighting to protect and defend.

Can you help make sure that doesn’t happen?
I’m fighting to put our country’s people ahead of Nancy Pelosi’s radical politics, and I deeply appreciate your support in the fight.
Thank you,
