Friend, let me explain. I know my team has been emailing you a lot this week asking you to chip in to meet our August fundraising deadline.
If I had my way, it wouldn’t be like this.
It shouldn’t matter how much money I raise -- it should only matter how well I represent this district. But because this district is a top target for Trump and the National Republican Congressional Committee, it’s going to be costly to hold this seat.
