* Meet Nori Sharif, a nurse who stays put with his family in Iraq's "Triangle of Death," in the midst of ISIS' rise to power ([link removed]) . Nominated for Outstanding Current Affairs Documentary.

* Eight years in the life of a black family from Philadelphia, this film is as much about grace in the face of hardship as it is about contemporary American life ([link removed]) . As A.O. Scott put it: "I’ve rarely seen a movie about citizenship as quietly eloquent" as this one.
