Catherine brings more than 30 years of nursing experience, including advanced clinical practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner and leadership roles with the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). Her expertise includes evidence-based practice, nursing education, federally funded research, clinical practice guideline development, and organizational leadership. In her role, Catherine will lead NASN's educational strategy, oversee the ANCC Accredited Provider Unit as the ANCC Accredited Provider Program Director (APPD), and support the development and delivery of educational products and programs for school nurses.
