Hi. I’m Mike Cortese. You might have heard about my fight in Tennessee, but let me reintroduce myself:
I’m running for Congress this year. I’m a dad. A husband. I’m an American who is tired of the abuse. I built my life here by working hard and doing what it takes to support a family. I know what it means to budget carefully while hoping the people in charge are paying attention. Spoiler, they aren’t, so I entered this race because Americans deserve leadership that’s focused on real life.
So I am doing the work. I’m reminiscing on my speech a few months back, and I’m proud to say our mission hasn’t wavered one bit:

My opponent, Scott Desjarlais, has chosen politics built on siding with big corporate interests and staying within MAGA party lines. Meanwhile, people in this district are dealing with rising costs, limited access to healthcare, and a government that feels disconnected from everyday life. I SAY ENOUGH. That gap is why I’m running.
My campaign is built on one promise: Hometowns over Headlines. That means focusing on our communities instead of the next FOX News headline. Our goal for this post is to raise $500 to keep reaching voters and building momentum.This district is ready for leadership that takes the job seriously, I know it.
