On Friday, Trump described non-violent protesters who surrounded the White House during the final night of the Republican National Convention as “thugs,” and suggested he was looking at invoking the Insurrection Act to send troops to quell protests in US cities.  Armed Trumpers have switched up from their swastikas and KKK hoods to Trump flags and MAGA hats to do the same.  What do you think they’ll do to keep him in power?

Will we sit back and allow the crushing of dissent, hoping against all facts that this will all just go away, that Trump won’t possibly win an election he’s already rigging, that the fascists who’ve been organizing for decades will just slink away? 

Or will we rise? There are more of US on the side of justice -- but that doesn’t matter if WE don’t act. All of us, in our millions, nonviolently taking to the streets to overwhelm and drive these FASCISTS from power.
