It’s not a secret: our district has been a top target for Republican super PACs since Abigail won in 2018. VA-07 is one of the most competitive districts in the country, and this seat could determine whether Democrats keep the majority in the House in 2020.

We knew outside spending was going to flood into the district, especially closer to the election. With only three weeks until early voting starts, the outside attacks against Abigail are picking up.

The top Republican super PAC, the Congressional Leadership Fund, launched an enormous $2.5 million ad blitz against Democratic incumbents nationwide, including Abigail. They have flooded the airwaves with attack ads with lies, trying to erase Abigail’s strong record of fighting for VA-07.

We can’t let these attacks be the last thing voters hear before they submit their ballot, and in a race as close as this one we can’t afford to lose even a single voter because they didn’t hear Abigail’s strong message before they voted.
