I’ll be honest, asking for donations isn’t exactly my favorite part of the job. But in a race as competitive as ours, every donation – no matter the amount – makes a big difference.

We’re hiring staff, building our volunteer program, and making strategic decisions about our ambitious outreach plans in the months ahead. A few dollars here and there from real people is what makes it all possible.

I’ve made tough calls in Congress because I work for Southwest Washington, not special interests or some outside agenda. I’m proud of that, and I’m not changing who I am.
