I have a confession, John: When my husband decided to run for Senate, taking on the failed status quo and bringing a prescription for change to Washington, I wasn't sure what to expect. Al is compassionate, driven, and cares more about Alaska than anyone I have ever met -- and that's why I knew he had it in him to defeat Dan Sullivan. Even so, I didn't expect Cook Political Report and Public Policy Polling to show our race statistically tied with months left to the election. I didn't imagine reading The Washington Post and Vox and seeing headlines about how my husband, Dr. Al Gross, was giving Dan Sullivan the toughest challenge Alaska's Republican Party has seen in decades. But here we are, on the path to defeating Dan Sullivan and sending a doctor, commercial fisherman, and lifelong Alaskan to the Senate. I always knew we could do it -- but you're the reason we are doing it, John. Your support has gotten us this far, and it's what will get us all the way to Washington.
