It’s hard to believe that in the year 2020, the National Republican Campaign
Committee (NRCC) would encourage outside, dark money groups to attack an LGBTQ
candidate for their sexual orientation. But that’s exactly what is happening
right now in Texas’ 23rd Congressional District.

Republicans believe that if they tell voters that Gina Ortiz Jones is a
lesbian, it will hurt her chances of flipping the most competitive district in
the entire country.

We’re here today to prove the NRCC wrong and make them pay for their
homophobic attacks against Gina.
