On August 6, join TLC and GSA Network for a conversation about what comes next in the fight for trans youth.
Dear community,
The Supreme Court’s rulings in West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox have allowed West Virginia and Idaho to continue excluding trans young people from school sports. But the ruling did not change the law in states that have protections in place for trans athletes. These states continue to be places that let all young athletes shine, including young trans athletes.
The Supreme Court’s decision cannot diminish the truth of who trans youth are, nor do they determine the future we are building together. We make the future.
On Thursday, August 6 at 7 p.m. ET, join Transgender Law Center and Genders & Sexualities Alliance Network for a community conversation about the rulings, their impact, and the good work that comes next.
Trans youth deserve the freedom to learn, play, grow, and belong without being targeted by politicians or pushed out of public life. No court ruling can erase that vision. Together, we will continue organizing toward a future where every young person has the support, safety, and freedom they deserve.
