Arizonans,
Labor Day is a time for us to honor and pay tribute to the millions of
hard-working Americans who contribute to our nation’s success.
In 2016, then-candidate Donald Trump promised to revitalize the American
economy; since being elected President, more than 4 million jobs have been
created.
The Republican tax cuts are playing a huge part in this booming economy.
The law nearly doubled the standard deduction, doubled the child tax
credit, protected tax savings for higher education and retirement, and
lowered rates across the board.
While left-wing pundits and critics wish for a recession, the overwhelming
evidence shows our economy is strong. Wages are up, companies are growing,
and consumer confidence is at an all-time high.
Arizonans are better off today than they were a decade ago, and that’s in
large part thanks to President Trump and Republicans in Congress.
Happy Labor Day to all our great Arizona workers and their
families.
