John, we have some good and bad news.

The good news: yesterday, we sent you a message about how our fundraising took a hit. We told you that meeting our $100,000 goal this month was important in continuing our voter outreach and community organizing efforts. Soon after we sent our email, tens of grassroots supporters chipped in to help us get back on track.

But the bad news: if we're going to meet our goal, we need to pick up the pace even more. A lot of our efforts rely on our success in fundraising — from mobilizing around the census in NY-16 to supporting progressives all across the country.

So our team ran some numbers and here's what we found: if just three people in your area donated any amount, we'll be well on our way to crushing this goal. Can you be one of the three from your area?

Our campaign relies on individual donors to power our efforts — not corporate PACs or lobbyists. Every dollar you chip in goes directly towards supporting the work that we do for New York's 16th District and our progressive movement.
