I've said time and time again that it was only a matter of time before dark money GOP groups turned their massive war chests toward us -- and that time has come.

Earlier this week, a conservative group put an ad up on TV attacking Jay for his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic. His stay-at-home order is saving lives, but to this group? That's too far:

"The only thing unhealthy about this situation is Gov. Jay Inslee's overreaching arm to shut us down."

Keeping folks safe and healthy shouldn't be a partisan issue, but it's clear that our extremist opponents want to make it one. The Republican National Convention showed the complete absence of steady, moral leadership in Washington, D.C. Leaders like Jay represent the total opposite, and that's why he needs our help.
