Illinois parents deserve respect. Apparently, Springfield Democrats missed the memo.

Governor Pritzker just signed a package of new laws, including a controversial measure allowing minors to receive birth control without parental consent.

That is not common sense. That is the same old Democrat instinct: trust government first, parents later.

Families across Illinois are already dealing with high costs, unsafe communities, and schools too often run by political agendas instead of basic accountability. Now Democrats are once again telling parents to step aside.

Illinois Republicans believe parents matter. Their voices matter. Their values matter. Their children are not political projects for Springfield bureaucrats.
