Ten years ago, we had a dream to take hundreds of people right into a factory farm in broad daylight. We did it, with your help. Three years ago, we had a dream to end the fur industry. Again, we did it, in Berkeley, San Francisco, and then the entire state of California—all with your help. And now, we have another dream—an entire city standing for animal rights—and we have an opportunity to bring this dream to life, too. But, as I explained last week at an all-hands meeting, I need your help now more than ever to make that happen. Together, we can win the mayor’s office, and change the world.

This is what we can achieve together. We can put an end to military training for Berkeley police officers, like Urban Shield. We can address global warming head-on, prevent future wildfires, and build a beautiful green new city. We can make Berkeley the first major city on the planet to go plant-based. 

We’re on a pathway to victory. We have a significant financial advantage over Jesse. And that matters. Our outreach numbers are putting us on a pace to win- but only if we increase our efforts. Jesse and the political establishment are scared, so they are going negative and they have the political machine. But we have you. 

I have given everything to this campaign. I’m canvassing for 6+ hours a day. The future is in our hands. The time for change is now.
