Over the last few weeks, Americans have been outraged at the unprovoked shooting of two unarmed immigrants by ICE in Houston and Maine.

Since Trump took office, ICE has shot and killed at least 10 people on America’s streets. But those are FAR from the only deaths of innocent people on ICE’s watch.

According to the Human Rights Watch, at least 50 people have died in sprawling ICE detention facilities across the country — including the Dilley detention center in Texas that I’m pushing to shut down.

Friend, since Trump took office, I’ve made nearly a dozen visits to Dilley to monitor conditions, meet with families, and fight for their release.

And just last week, I led more than 100 of my colleagues in demanding the Department of Homeland Security CLOSE the Dilley detention center and END the detention of children and families in ICE facilities.

These children and families are suffering behind closed doors, out of view of the public. But I’m shining a spotlight on ICE’s abuses – and I need your help.
