Last weekend, nearly a thousand Liberal volunteers took to the phones in our third Virtual Weekend of Action of the summer to have important conversations with Canadians across the country about their priorities.
A little over a week ago, Justin Trudeau announced that our Liberal government will be presenting a new Speech from the Throne on September 23 to lay out, in detail, our plan to keep Canada moving forward.
And right now, we’re focused on building a Canada that is healthier and safer, greener, more fair, and more resilient. This is an important moment to shape our future for the better, but with Erin O’Toole promising to take Canada back to the same policies of Stephen Harper and Andrew Scheer, we know that we can never take our progress for granted.
That’s why your support is so essential to our work together to keep building a better future for all Canadians – and this weekend, I’ve been looking at the numbers. We’re already so close to reaching our end-of-August grassroots fundraising goal, and that’s why I’m hoping you’ll join the 3,424 Canadians who have already chipped in online this month to help us get there.
