Friends, I’m checking in to wish you and your loved ones a happy Labor Day and to let you know that my team and I met our August end of month fundraising goal -- all because of you.

Under the current administration, it’s easy to feel lost and frustrated by the terrible news we hear every day. About our climate, the inhumane conditions at the border, the constant attempts to take away affordable healthcare.

But today is about remembering all that we can accomplish when we use our collective voice to fight for our rights. And that gives me hope -- because when we stand together, we win.

Yes, we can build a society that works for all of us, not just the wealthy and powerful few. We can honor the hard work of everyday Americans and raise the minimum wage. We can put people before profit and make Medicare for All a reality.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for being a part of this movement.
