* Working to ensure people living with younger-onset Alzheimer's
and dementia have access to critical care and support services
through the Older Americans Act, regardless of their age.
* Urging state and federal lawmakers to implement policies that
will enhance adequate testing, ensure access to the necessary
equipment (i.e. PPE), implement necessary mandatory reporting,
and develop protocols to respond to a rise in COVID-19 cases in
long-term and residential care settings.
* Advancing the federal government's commitment to Alzheimer's and
dementia research, helping secure research funding increases
that bring annual funding at the National Institutes of Health
to $2.8 billion.
