Green sea turtle
Center for     Biological     Diversity

Hi John,

Known for their long lifespans and incredible migrations, sea turtles are ancient creatures that face an overwhelming array of modern threats.

Center staff have been working for decades to protect these amazing reptiles from plastic and light pollution, entanglement in fishing gear, sea-level rise and ocean acidification. Just in the past few weeks we've celebrated wins to gain new protections for leatherback sea turtles in California and for green sea turtles' critical habitat on both coasts.

Join me on Thursday, Sept. 3 for our next Saving Life on Earth webinar to learn more about the Center's work to save sea turtles and how you can help.

The presentation will feature our Florida director Jaclyn Lopez and Catherine Kilduff, a senior attorney in our Oceans program.

The hour-long webinar starts at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET. Register here and check your email for the link to join.
