Mike Pence told the American people “we will have law and order” in a second Trump term -- ironic, because serial criminal Donald Trump (whose former chief strategist was just indicted for fraud) was ordered to pay $2 million in damages for illegally using the “charity” set up in his name to advance his 2016 political campaign.
Trump is now using the same illegal tactics to grow his 2020 campaign war chest -- the Campaign Legal Center, a nonpartisan watchdog group, has filed a complaint with the FEC alleging Trump’s campaign has laundered tens of millions of dollars through companies connected with Trump’s former campaign manager.
This is extremely troubling. Trump and the RNC “raised” almost twice as much as Biden and the DNC in July, and the Trump campaign has just launched a multi-million dollar digital ad buy designed to smear Joe Biden and misinform voters before the election. At this rate, Trump will bury Biden in illegal dark money long before voters hit the polls.
