This isn’t the news I was hoping to share with you on a weekend.

My team and I just walked through the numbers and it’s clear we run the risk of missing our last fundraising goal of the summer — endangering our efforts to take back the Senate and stop Republicans from flipping Minnesota red this fall.

I’ll be honest, this budget crisis is coming at one of the worst times. Our lead in the polls has shrunk. Donald Trump just attacked me personally at his Minnesota rally. Mike Pence was right on his heels with a visit to our state. And my opponent is outspending us on the airwaves.

That’s why I’m directly messaging you right now with an urgent request as we try to make up for this temporary lapse in our fundraising. So, I’m asking:
