August has been an incredible month to be a Democrat. We witnessed the historic nomination of Kamala Harris to be our party’s vice president and watched an incredible (and completely virtual!) Democratic National Convention. Now, in just two days, we're up against one of the most urgent fundraising deadlines of this race, and we can't take even a second to let our efforts slow.
The next few weeks are crucial as we make the final plans, hire the last hands, and finish building a national infrastructure to support Democrats from the top of the ticket down to every single important local race in the country.
I can't overstate this, John: Your support for the Democratic Unity Fund is more important now than it has ever been before. President Obama created this fund last year because he knew that our party needed to be unified and strong enough to win races from Maine to California this November. But right now, we're still short of the support we need for the Democratic Unity Fund before Monday's crucial FEC deadline.
