You read the subject line of this email right! Early voting begins on September 18th in Virginia, so voters will begin casting their ballots in less than three weeks.

There is no time to waste: we need to build on our momentum and accelerate our efforts to turn out voters for this crucial election.

Our team is working around the clock to connect with every voter in VA-07. We’re making calls, sending texts, and sending postcards. Our Field Organizers are meeting with community leaders and county party groups to build out our network on the ground. If there’s a way to reach voters in Central Virginia, we’re doing it.

But running a strategic, effective voter outreach program in a highly-competitive district in the middle of a pandemic takes real resources. As we approach early voting in a few weeks, our finance director, Whitney, and I set a fundraising goal for the end of August, because it’s critical that we are able to fund the programs we need to win.

It’s an ambitious goal, but we know the power behind our grassroots support. In order to start September in the best possible position for our outreach and communication efforts, we want to raise $12,348 before the end of the month!
