John, we wanted to send you a quick rundown on the state of our race before Monday’s fundraising deadline.

THE SITUATION: Two polls in a row show our race is statistically tied. It’s a coin toss whether we succeed and re-elect Lucy or if our far-right opponent takes back this seat and potentially flips the House back into Republican control.

THE COMPLICATION: The polling can’t account for Republicans’ voter suppression schemes. Trump admitted that he refuses to fund USPS to make it harder to vote by mail, and Georgia Republicans have been making it harder to vote for years.

THE PLAN: We need to make critical investments in organizing and voter protection to make sure that we can turn out every possible voter in Georgia’s sixth district who supports Lucy. And hitting our end-of-month goal will keep us on track to make sure we can invest early.
