Hello, True Texans!

I was trying to decide this week which of our conference speakers I'm most excited about.  On Monday I read about pervs molesting kids in government schools.  On Tuesday I read about pervs molesting kids in government schools.  Come to think of it, I read about it Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday too.  In fact, it is in the news EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. It's so bad, Texas Scorecard tracks them all with a map.  Here's what it looks like as of the writing of this email, but it literally changes daily.

And THAT is why I invited Levi Fuller to speak at our conference.  Levi is the new Inspector General of the Texas Education Agency (TEA).  It's a position recently created to address this problem of sexual abuse in the schools.  (The fact that there are so many cases that we need one person whose sole job is to root it out makes you wonder what the leftist colleges are doing to groom future teachers into sexual predators.)

Remember that hit piece the media did on our conference that I mentioned in last week's newsletter?  They were contacting all the speakers and asking them if they were going to back out.  They also went to the TEA and asked why they'd allow Levi to speak at our event.  So Levi called me, and I braced myself.  Was he about to cave? Ha! Not a chance! He was just calling to tell me how it motivated him more than ever to be there!  I cannot wait to meet him in person and shake his hand because this guy is a bulldog. He said there's no way he'd cancel, and that this is exactly the kind of thing he SHOULD be doing... exposing the crimes and telling the public how it will be addressed.

Time is ticking away, folks.  I keep reminding you to get your tickets.  We've got a great lineup and a great crowd of guests.  If you have not booked your ticket yet, do it now!

QUICK QUESTION!

We're hosting a fun outing on Friday night to the Western Kountry Klub honkeytonk in Midlothian for some line dancing.  I've had several people request that we go to Stagecoach in Ft Worth instead because Midlothian is too far... and I've had no one in Ellis or Johnson Counties tell me they were planning to join us.  So...  it would be a last minute change, but I don't want to switch to Ft Worth if it will leave out anyone who was planning to go.  I need to hear from you by end of day Monday if you do NOT want me to change the venue. Just reply to this email. I'll send out an email on Tuesday confirming the venue.
