Republicans love to say they support working families. Let's check the facts.

MYTH : Republicans support working families.

FACT : They cut $1 trillion from Medicaid — stripping health coverage from an estimated 10 million Americans, including working parents who don't have employer-sponsored health care.

FACT : They gutted free school lunch programs, taking meals away from kids who depend on them to get through the school day.

FACT : They slashed special education funding and put school bus programs on the chopping block — making it harder for families to get their kids to school and get the support they need.

FACT : They cut SNAP benefits, taking food off the tables of low-income families, seniors, and veterans.

FACT : Jim Marter — Lauren's Republican opponent — supports every single one of these cuts.

Numbers don't lie. Republicans, on the other hand?
