Last week, I spoke at our Democratic Convention.

Now I’m humbly asking for your $5 to elect Democrats.

I stood on the virtual Convention stage and told you about my granddad -- who rose out of poverty, sent my mother to college, and paved the way for my own career in public service.

But I’ve witnessed for far too long our country diverging from the promise of this American dream.

And right now, as Donald Trump and his Republican allies in Congress claim the economy is getting better, they’re blatantly ignoring the magnitude of this crisis and the struggle of so many working class Americans across this country:

-- 40 million Americans are at risk of losing their homes
-- 30 million Americans aren’t getting enough to eat
-- 5.4 million Americans have lost their healthcare because of this crisis

I know the election is more than just a referendum on Trump -- it’s about who we are as a people.

That’s why I’m so deeply committed to the fight to rebuild our country stronger than ever before -- and yes, to restore the soul of our nation.

So I’m humbly asking for 24,OOO grassroots Democrats to join me and elect Democrats who will restore moral leadership to our country.
