The second and third nights of the Republican National Convention featured a number of leading Republican women voicing their adulation for President Trump while painting a dark picture of what the country would look like under the leadership of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. The messaging seemed to be directed at the one group Trump is losing support among: suburban white women, who appear to have grown disillusioned by Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, his antics and crassness, his willingness to antagonize, his racism and sexism.

And so the RNC trotted out women and people of color who support Trump no matter what Democrats say, insisting that Trump is not racist, he is not sexist, he is actually a very nice guy despite what your lying eyes and ears may tell you. They made the case that Trump, in fact, has hired women and supports criminal justice reform, even dolling out a live pardon on Tuesday night like it was a free car on reality TV. But the messengers were just as extreme as their president.

Trump's Scorched Earth Campaign on Full Display at the RNC

Against the backdrop of the White House and amidst a crowd of 2,000+ campaign supporters, President Trump openly flouted both the law and CDC guidance in giving his acceptance speech during the RNC.

Laden with familiar themes of fear mongering and "I alone can solve it," speeches by Trump and his GOP supporters inflated his accomplishments and either downplayed or outright denied much of the ongoing public health crisis that is gripping the nation.

The parade of lies, false promises, and propaganda underscore the extreme and very real challenges before us in the 2020 election - and the need for the support of PFAW members like you.

Organizing toward the goal of ousting Trump from the White House on Election Day, a diverse group of artists have provided original works to the campaign, some of which are currently available via our Kickstarter campaign, which is raising resources to put up artist-designed billboards in the battleground states.

The Republican National Convention, was held this week and featured a smorgasbord of outright lies, propaganda, and dangerous behavior from Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans.

In any given week, Trump can often rely on his Republican allies to lift up his lies and dangerous actions, but at the 2020 RNC, such cronyism was at a reality-bending high. Attempting to provoke more pro-Trump fervor among their base, most speakers leaned into a theme of fear – not of COVID-19, but of the Democratic Party and its presidential nominee.
