During my campaign for president, I traveled all across the country and met with folks from all walks of life. Those were some of my favorite moments on the campaign trail, seeing the rich diversity of our country and of our party each and every day.

That’s why I’m writing to you about my friend Ben McAdams, and why I hope you’ll join me in supporting him today.

This is an unprecedented moment in our nation’s history, and Ben is exactly the type of leader we need to keep in Washington to help get us through it. We need leaders who can restore our sense of common purpose, and while we don’t always agree on everything, that’s what gives us strength.

Right now, Ben has a tough fight ahead of him, and he’s going to need our help to get across the finish line in November. Will you help him out by contributing whatever you can to his campaign today?

Ben is a leader who listens to his constituents, prioritizes their concerns, and gets results. He’s led on issues like expanding access to affordable health care, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, and bringing jobs to his district -- and he’s done it by working with our friends on both sides of the aisle.

He knows that when we forge a stronger understanding of our commonality despite our differences -- when we join together and work together -- there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.
