SEPTEMBER 2, 2019: A ScottRasmussen.com national survey ([link removed]) found that 40% of adults believe labor unions are generally good for the United States while 13% believe they are generally bad.[1] ([link removed])
A third (33%) believe the impact is somewhere in between while 14% are not sure.
Fifty-six percent (56%) of Democrats believe unions are good for America while just 7% think they are bad.
Among Republicans and independents, the results are more mixed, but still somewhat positive. Thirty-five percent (35%) of Republicans see unions as good while 22% say they are bad. As for independents, 31% say good and 14% bad.
