Friend,
This week, the administration announced it is actively stripping away critical protections under the Endangered Species Act.
Before I launched this campaign for the U.S. Senate, I wore the uniform of a Wind Cave National Park Ranger. I didn't take that job for the paycheck; I took it because the wildlife and rugged landscapes of South Dakota—the Black Hills, the Badlands, and the prairies—are the crown jewels of this country. They belong to all of us.
This move from our government is a cynical, massive, taxpayer-funded handout to corporate developers.
I’m running for U.S. Senate to fight back against the destruction of our own land, and I’m asking you to join me by donating to my campaign tonight.
Removing these safeguards is a green light for out-of-state billionaires and corporate monopolies to exploit, drill, and pave over habitats that are vital to South Dakota’s natural heritage.
It threatens our outdoor economy, our conservation efforts, and the legacy we are supposed to leave for our kids and grandkids.
Protecting our land is supposed to be part of our South Dakota DNA. But Mike Rounds won't lift a finger to stop this rollback. He will sit in total silence, as usual, because the corporate PACs funding his re-election campaign are the exact same people cashing in on the destruction of our wildlife protections.
You cannot protect South Dakota by sending another corporate foot soldier to the Senate.
I am running as an Independent because I only answer to the Constitution and to you. But I am running this campaign out of my camper, which means I need your help to fight back against the D.C. Casino's corporate money.
Before you log off for the weekend, will you make a high-leverage investment of $15, $35, or $50 to help me defend South Dakota's heritage and replace Mike Rounds in the Senate?
Thank you, and have a wonderful weekend.
