Last night, Donald Trump got on national TV and gave a prime-time speech from the White House.

Usually, when a president does that sort of thing, they have something new and important to say.

But honestly, Trump just loves surrounding himself with the trappings of the presidency.

He loves hearing the sound of his own voice.

And he wanted to invite himself into millions of living rooms to retread desperate lies about the election he lost in 2020 — to lay the groundwork for future attempts to overthrow upcoming elections.
