We’re facing our first end of month deadline since our
Republican opponent was named. Now that our opponent, Arpaio’s
former chief deputy Jerry Sheridan, is past the primary, he’s got
his eyes on defeating Sheriff Penzone in November. As Arpaio’s
chief deputy, Sheridan was also held in contempt of court for his
lies and abuses of power, costing the taxpayers $140 million and
counting. Maricopa County cannot afford Jerry Sheridan.
That’s why we’re setting an ambitious goal of $10,000 by the
end of the month to ensure we have what it takes to re-elect

With our race heating up, our opponent is going to keep
close eyes on our campaign looking for any signs of
vulnerability. We simply cannot fall short of our goal.
We know what Jerry Sheridan is capable of, he was Arpaio’s
top deputy! He didn’t stand up to racial profiling when it was
happening, and he’ll be ready to undo Sheriff Penzone’s progress
from day one on the job.
We need a Sheriff who cares about protecting everyone in our
