Trump is set to deliver a primetime address from the White House tonight, and all signs point to him trying to invalidate previous Democratic election victories.

Of course, this address comes as he's once again calling on Republicans to pass stricter federal voting laws ahead of November's midterm elections.

Trump is trying to control elections right in front of us—we can't let him.

When I was first elected to represent the San Gabriel Valley, I promised to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

This means protecting our democracy, respecting the rule of law, and making sure every voter has confidence that their voice matters.

It's the same commitment that has guided my work standing up for working families, demanding accountability from ICE, and pushing back whenever this administration oversteps its authority.

That's why this election matters.

Winning CA-31 is critical to make sure Congress continues to have voices willing to stand up for our Constitution and serve as a check on any administration that exceeds its authority.
