Jack,

Last night, I got to share that our campaign raised over $1.1 million
dollars. Today, I wanted to take a step back and go through what this
means for us, and where we go from here.

There’s a lot I could highlight, but I want to first thank you all for
showing up for me. You make our movement possible, and [ [link removed] ]I hope you’ll
keep supporting us through the final month.

I’ve promised that I won’t take corporate PAC money. I won’t cater to the
millionaire and billionaire class. And I’ve always believed that this
campaign won’t need any of that to succeed. 

Last night, our numbers proved that. Here’s what they say:

We’re people powered. 

* 22,792 donations—the most of any candidate in the race, including Tom
Tiffany
* 13,323 unique donors—the most of any candidate in the race, including
Tom Tiffany
* 41% of everyone who has given to a Democrat in this primary has given
to Hong
* 9,455 Wisconsin donors—the most of any candidate in the race,
including Tom Tiffany

We refused to compromise our values.

* 0.5% of our money comes from PACs (advocacy groups) and other
organizations
* $47 average donation—the lowest average contribution rate of any
candidate in this race, including Tom Tiffany
* 76% of our money comes from inside Wisconsin

We have the momentum.

* $1,075,774 was our total raised by the end of June
* 45% of everything we’ve raised came in May and June alone

There was a lot of chatter about my potential fundraising numbers and lack
of allegiance to the donor class. Pundits and the media debated which of
my opponents had the money and momentum to overtake my lead. 

I can now offer them an answer, one they probably didn’t consider: I have
the money, and I have the momentum. And I got here without compromising
the values of this campaign.

I’ve been emailing you all a lot of fundraising asks in the past few weeks
and I am so grateful you’re all still with me. We’re so close to finishing
this.
