Dear allies,

Earlier today, the Department of Homeland Security released the final public charge rule ([link removed]) . PIF is currently reviewing the rule and will share a thorough analysis with the full network as quickly as possible. You can expect updated resources geared towards community members and advocates in the coming days.

We will be hosting a PIF Network Briefing on Monday, July 20th. This briefing is open to PIF active members and organizational allies.

The briefing will cover:
* What the rule says — a plain-language breakdown of the final rule and what changed
* What we know and what we don't — an honest assessment of what our analysis has found and where questions remain
* Resources available now — tools, fact sheets, and guides ready for use with immigrant communities
* Resources in development — what's coming and when to expect it
* Messaging guidance — how to talk about public charge accurately and without causing fear
* What's next for our movement — the landscape ahead and how we respond together

If you would like to attend the briefing, please send an email to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) from your .org email address to receive the registration link.

If you are an individual who is not affiliated with an organization, you are welcome to attend our community webinar. The link will be shared once available.

We encourage partners to stay tuned before circulating guidance or community-facing materials, so we can ensure everyone is working from the same accurate information.

Thank you for your continued commitment to immigrant communities.

In solidarity,

PIF Coalition Team
