At the Democratic National Convention last week, people from across the country came together virtually to unite behind our shared values and our vision for a better America. It was an historic and exciting event. We heard from leaders across the country who inspire us and remind us what's best about our country.

But while our convention was about coming together, the goal of this week's Republican National Convention was to divide us. People like Patricia and Mark McCloskey, the St. Louis couple who pointed guns at Black Lives Matter protestors, and other extreme national Republicans had featured speaking roles.

President Trump spoke every night and his speeches were as dark, angry, and hateful as ever.

It's clear we need to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in November, but Joe and Kamala are going to need partners in Congress to enact progress. That's why it's critical we hold this seat. Can I count on you to rush support to help us win in November? >> [link removed]

President Trump and national Republicans think that they can only win by pitting us against each other and bringing out the worst in us. We can't let them succeed.

November is our chance to come together and rise above hatred and fear. We can do this by electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, flipping the Senate, and protecting our majority in the House.
