Friend, yesterday the House of Representatives voted on a measure that would cut $3.3 billion in annual U.S. military aid to Israel.
I voted YES to cut that funding.
Over the last three years we have watched in horror as Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, invaded Lebanon, and allowed settler violence to flourish in the West Bank. But this violence didn’t start three years ago — for decades, Palestinians have been subjected to a brutal and illegal occupation without basic human rights.
Through all of the war crimes and violations of international law that have stacked up, American taxpayers have paid for it with their hard-earned money. It’s unconscionable.
Not only would blocking this aid bring that money home, but it would put diplomatic pressure on Israel to change course. Rather than supporting Israel no-questions-asked, the United States can and should be leading the charge on pressuring Israel to end the violence, end the apartheid, end the occupation, and get serious about a Palestinian state. Ending US aid is the first critical step of that process.
Friend, while this measure did not pass, 104 members, including 103 Democrats, voted "yes" alongside me. This represents the largest coalition in support of blocking aid to Israel in the history of the House. The pressure our movement has put on both the Democratic and Republican parties is working.
But here’s the problem: When you stand up for human rights, peace, and the dignity of Palestinians, the well-funded Israel lobby will do everything they can to defeat you.
AIPAC and its allies have already spent hundreds of millions of dollars this election cycle, with the express goal of beating pro-Palestine progressives like myself.
I have been a top target of the pro-Israel lobby, Trump, and all of MAGA for years now. I don’t know what comes next, but I’m asking you to have my back for whatever they throw our way.
Please, if you believe that it’s far past time to cut off aid to Israel and fight for justice and self-determination for Palestine, donate to my campaign. I have been out front on this issue throughout my career because I see Israel’s occupation as an ongoing moral and humanitarian crisis. Help me continue to fight for change:

Our movement has made incredible progress over the last few years. We have to keep pushing, keep fighting, and keep bringing more people into the cause of justice for all.
In solidarity,
