Email from Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation Explore our latest July 2026 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE Will AI Take Over The World? Dear John, Many leading scientists have recently said that there is up to a 30% chance that AI will take over the world. I know that sounds extremely weird or, at the very least, like science fiction. But you know me, right? Always forging ahead and wondering and learning more every day. So, I have begun a dedicated search to try to discover if it is a real thing; not AI, we know it’s certainly real. You probably use it one way or another. It’s part of our daily life. And for some things, it is very helpful. It’s even predicted that someday AI may even have a soul, although I find that hard to believe. And so, what I want to share is that we can and must develop our own spirit and soul to develop our own higher consciousness. Of course, meditation and other elements of regular spiritual practice are essential. We call this sadhana, and we recommend practicing it in the morning to awaken your mind and spirit to have a great day. Recall that our 25 years of published research at the highest levels of medicine reveal that our special meditation called Kirtan Kriya has multiple medical benefits, from a better memory to a reduction in inflammation to a true anti-aging benefit in your body and brain. But most of all, the regular practice of Kirtan Kriya does something technology never will: it turns on your unique spirit, connecting you to a deeper sense of universal health, well-being, and prosperity. It allows you to become your most authentic, real self. Finally, I want to share that when you join our Brain Longevity® Therapy Training program, or what we fondly call BLTT, you will discover not only how to help people save their brains and prevent and reverse memory loss, but help yourself, too. In a world increasingly dominated by algorithms, BLTT helps you stay healthier, happier, and fully alive – as a HUMAN, not a computerized thingamajig. So join the evolution revolution and sign up for BLTT. It’s being offered at a low introductory price. Yours in Brain Health, Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D. President / Medical Director JOIN THE BRAIN HEALTH REVOLUTION EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH ARPF Attends IAYT's Symposium on Yoga Therapy & Research Kirti Khalsa (right) shares ARPF research with a conference attendee. The global yoga therapy community gathered for the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) annual event: the Symposium on Yoga Therapy and Research (SYTAR). This year’s conference created a collaborative space where the world’s leading therapists, clinicians, educators, and scientists could bridge the gap between ancient practice and modern evidence-based science. For over three decades, ARPF has been championing the message of proactive Brain Longevity®. Because SYTAR places such a strong emphasis on research and best practices for patient wellness, it was the perfect venue for our team to connect, share, and expand our mission. ARPF’s presence extended far beyond our exhibition table, pictured above. Members of the ARPF Yoga Advisory Council took center stage as prominent presenters and facilitators during the conference’s educational sessions. We left feeling deeply inspired and reenergized. Seeing the collective passion of the IAYT community affirms that the future of brain health is holistic, integrative, and scientifically backed. LEARN MORE UPCOMING PROGRAM July 23rd: Aging as a Spiritual Journey In much of modern culture, aging is often framed as a time of decline, loss, and diminishing relevance. Yet many psychological, spiritual, and cross-cultural traditions tell a very different story. Later life can be a profound period of reflection, integration, and wisdom – a stage of development in which individuals deepen their sense of meaning, connection, and purpose. In this engaging webinar on July 23rd, psychologist and scholar Dr. Christopher Walling, PsyD, MBA, C-IAYT, FABP, explores how aging can be understood as a sacred developmental journey rather than simply a biological process. Join us on July 23rd at 4 pm PT / 7 pm ET for one hour. If you can't make it, you'll automatically get the recording. REGISTER BRAIN LONGEVITY® SPECIALIST SPOTLIGHT Malaika Albrecht, RYT200, BLS Malaika Albrecht has woven the 4 Pillars of Alzheimer's Prevention® into her library in quietly powerful ways. She offers weekly chair yoga and mindfulness practices, poetry and game nights for creative engagement, and a community visiting program that brings audiobooks to residents of a local nursing home – accompanied by handmade cards created by library patrons through a project she calls "Cards of Care." Perhaps her most innovative contribution is the Memory Backpack – a lending resource patrons can check out just like a book. Each backpack contains sensory items, conversation prompts, activities, and supportive resources for individuals living with dementia and their care partners.
