Dear John,
This is the most exciting time for our work to reach, register and turn out new voters in Texas. I'd love your help to keep it going.
After a strong spring semester working with students on campuses across the state, we have sent our volunteers and organizers this summer to concerts (from Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic to Sparta’s shows in San Antonio and Houston), festivals, clubs, community colleges and everywhere that Texas voters and future voters gather.
In addition, our volunteers have begun to support James Talarico events, including in El Paso and Laredo in the last few days, ensuring that everyone in line to see James is registered and personally contacted to ensure they vote.
In other words — we are hitting our stride, growing our programs, and maximizing the number of new voters we will bring into this election.
Unfortunately, our fundraising has slowed down this month, making it more challenging for us to do this work.
I’m writing to ask for your help to keep our programs running at full speed.
We are about to ramp up our college campus program ahead of the fall semester, and every dollar we raise supports the mission of registering, personally staying in touch with and turning out the margin of victory in November.
Thank you for your help!
Beto
