Imagine a small, cheap device that turns a handgun into a DIY machine gun capable of firing 800+ bullets a minute.
Now imagine that gun firing feet away from your child , bullets spraying the air as they run for their lives.
Shalon doesn’t have to imagine it. Her son Najeer was killed by a gun equipped with that small, cheap device — known as a “Glock switch” — in 2022.
Three years later, a bill to ban these DIY machine guns failed in the Pennsylvania House by a single vote.
One more legislator. One more vote. That's all it would have taken to spare other parents the pain Shalon lives with every day.
This fall, we have the chance to elect a legislator who puts human lives above the NRA. We've already identified the opportunities. Right now, our PAC is running our largest campaign yet — organizing and mobilizing persuadable voters in four key Pennsylvania districts ahead of the midterms.
We've heard from parents and families in communities like Philadelphia who are demanding action. Our goal is to raise $250,000 to help elect a gun safety majority this fall — and every dollar goes directly toward that fight.
