Dear Friend,

We are in one of the biggest political crises for generations. Boris Johnson has prorogued parliament because he has no mandate and no real majority. He wants to ram through a no deal Brexit which will be an attack on working people. He and his gang of right wing politicians claim they will fund the NHS and education but we know their record is to do exactly the opposite. His move is an affront to democracy and must be resisted. There has to be a general election with the chance to elect a government committed to ending austerity, public ownership and funding our services. 

The People's Assembly has been at the forefront of campaigning for these demands and we are protesting across the country in the coming days. We will be outside parliament when it convenes on Tuesday at 6pm calling for a general election now and to stop Boris and his Tories. Please do come along.

We will be at the Tory conference in Manchester, again on the streets to take on the Tories.
