*Governor Parson's Schedule for August 31 - September 3, 2020*

*(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) * Next week, Governor Mike Parson will travel across the state to attend various meetings and events.

Governor Parson will hold a press conference at *Washington University School of Medicine*at* 12:40 p.m. on**Thursday*, *September 3*, to discuss the new saliva-based COVID-19 test recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). *This press conference will replace the regular weekly briefing at the state capitol*. Further detail will be provided early next week.

On *Tuesday*, *September 1*, Governor Parson will tour a food bank in Springfield.

On *Wednesday*, *September 2*, Governor Parson will tour a completed levee project in Rock Port and attend a broadband meeting in Savannah. He will then travel to Kansas City for a food bank tour, the Kansas City Area Transit Authority (KCATA) briefing on US Department of Transportation grants, and the Missouri Association of County Clerks & Election Authorities (MACCEA) Annual Conference.

On *Thursday*, *September 3*, Governor Parson will travel to Rolla to attend the Advanced Manufacturing Symposium at Missouri S&T and visit Your Community Health Center for an opioid treatment grant announcement. He will then travel to St. Louis for a meeting with Washington University School of Medicine representatives and a food bank tour. He will end the day in Jackson for a meeting with Jackson School District representatives.

Governor Parson will be joined by Senator Roy Blunt for events on Wednesday and Thursday.
