The crowd chanted, “Four more years!” in praise of Mike Pence today in Duluth shortly after my opponent, Pete Stauber, joined him on stage. Pence responded to the cheers by telling them, “It’s on Minnesota.”

He’s delivering a clear message on behalf of the Trump-Pence campaign — Minnesota is fundamental to the future of our country, and it's on us to make an impact. More specifically, it's no coincidence that this happened right here in our key 8th District, which Trump has been strategically honing in on for the past couple of months.

Before Pence took the podium, he was preceded by Stauber who applauded Trump and Pence for their federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic. All the while, hardly any masks could be seen in the crowd of about 250 people, and it was clear that social distancing was not being enforced.
 
What a disgrace to the 180,000+ Americans who have lost their lives to this virus due to Trump's inaction and failure to listen to medical experts.
 
We simply CANNOT afford “four more years” of Donald Trump, Mike Pence, or Pete Stauber. None of these three men deserve a second term in their respective offices.
 
But as the competition in our district heats up, it’s going to be increasingly more difficult to keep up with Trump and Stauber’s muscle. They’ve got powerful connections, access to resources, and an abundance of cash on hand.

Right now, they have a huge advantage over us, and they're still on the rise. I urgently need your help before they gain too much steam because if they get too far ahead, my chance at flipping MN-08 blue will drop, which means risking another four years of the same weak and neglectful leadership.
