*Ballots Are in the Mail This Week for the August 4 Primary *
"Kitsap County—" Ballots for the August 4, 2026 Primary will begin arriving in Kitsap County mailboxes this week. All registered voters 18 and over in Kitsap County and 17-year-olds who will be 18 by the General Election will have the opportunity to cast votes in Primary races. The two candidates who receive the most votes in each will advance to the Nov. 3 General Election.
Pre-registered voters who are 17 but will be 18 by the General Election will be able to vote in the candidate primaries, except for the PCO races. They will also not be able to vote in the funding measures in Bremerton, Poulsbo and North Mason.
Drop boxes will be available beginning Wednesday and are open around the clock across the county until 8 p.m. on Election Day. A list of all 27 locations is available at kcowa.us/vote.

*July 27:* Last day to update registration online or by mail.
*August 1 (Saturday) and August 3 (Monday):* Vote centers will be open 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The vote centers are in:
* *Port Orchard:* Kitsap County Administration Building, 619 Division Street, Port Orchard, WA 98366
* *Bremerton:* Marvin Williams Recreation Center, 725 Park Avenue, Bremerton, WA 98337
* *Poulsbo Fire Station:* 911 NE Liberty Road, Poulsbo, WA 98370
*August 4:* Election Day. Vote Centers open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Ballots must be returned to a drop box by 8 p.m. or postmarked by August 4. For voters returning their ballots by mail, we recommend you mail them by Saturday, July 25.
