Hi John,

The Center for Biological Diversity just sued the Trump administration over its brazen attempt to gut the Endangered Species Act.

By redefining what it means to “harm” an endangered species, this administration is giving industry a green light to destroy the forests, rivers, wetlands, deserts, and coastlines wildlife need to survive.

We won't let them get away with it.

Please make a gift to the Endangered Species Act Protection Fund to support this critical legal fight.

Trump’s latest assault on the Act isn't just another rollback — it tears at the fabric of wildlife conservation.

If this rule stands, logging, mining, drilling, and sprawl development will have an easier path into the last homes of northern spotted owls, grizzly bears, Florida manatees, rufa red knots, Canada lynx, and countless other imperiled species.

The administration is arguing that destroying a species’ home somehow doesn't harm the species itself.

That's not how nature works. It’s not what Congress intended when it passed the Endangered Species Act. And it's not what the courts have recognized for the past 50 years.

The Center will fight back until it’s reversed.

We've defeated attacks on this landmark law before, and we're prepared to do it again, but we need you with us.

Please make an urgent gift to the Endangered Species Act Protection Fund today to power our fight.
