Good afternoon, John,

We have an urgent fundraising deadline coming up on Monday. I'm writing to give you an update on where we stand and why hitting it will be so important for this election.

Here's the deal: My opponent's allies have already pledged to spend $7 million on advertising in this race - and with more almost certain to come, we need to hit our goal of $250,000 grassroots donations to be able to fight back.

That might not seem like a lot compared to the millions my opponent is getting, but I know the power of this grassroots team - tens of thousands of North Carolinians chipping in $10 will always be more powerful than a few out of state groups pumping millions of dark-money into the race.

We've made a lot of progress, but we're still around $47,500 from our goal - and with the deadline Monday coming up, I'm hoping you'll help us get there.

So here's my ask: if you're fired up and ready to win in November, would you rush your first contribution of $10 to help us hit this goal? Every contribution - no matter how much - helps.

Please, only donate if you are able. If you can't give, just know that I appreciate your support, and we'll keep fighting for a better North Carolina together.

Thank you,

Roy

We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight. Further information on the Coronavirus and our response can be found here.
