Hezbollah Uses U.N. Buildings as Cover to Attack Israel
On Tuesday night, Hezbollah

attempted to attack Israel from between two United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) positions in southern Lebanon, in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.

Hezbollah is an Iranian-backed terrorist organization in Lebanon dedicated to Israel's destruction. The terror group uses Lebanese citizens and U.N. forces as shields for attacks against Israelis.
U.S. Condemns Turkish President’s Meeting With Hamas Leadership
Following Turkish President Erdogan hosting two Hamas leaders in Istanbul on August 22, the U.S. State Department released a statement in objection to the meeting.
"President Erdogan’s continued outreach to this terrorist organization only serves to isolate Turkey from the international community, harms the interests of the Palestinian people, and undercuts global efforts to prevent terrorist attacks launched from Gaza," the statement reads.
